Derrière les mensonges – Histoire de violence domestique A sad story but it is happening in some families where often members of the family hide in a lie because they feel afraid or in shame for anyone to know what they are going through. In this story Amma, Ramesh and Valli all lived in terror in their own home as they had an abusive father.
The mother tells lies to her children but the kids know well and as the neighbor asks, they too repeat the lie to hide things. Experiencing Domestic Violence is very frightening and often times will result in a child having social problems or be violent as well when they grow up.
Discussed in this story are actions that one could take to save them from this crisis or help anyone you know who is suffering from the same situation.

Text and Images from Derrière les mensonges – Histoire de violence domestique
