मंजूको तालेऔर कुंजयाँबत आकषत करतेथे। तालेमघूमती कुंजी के नरम धातुक व”न उसेउलास से भर देती थी। माँक साड़ी केआँचल से बंधा वो चा”बय का गु,छा उसका पसंददा खलौना था।
मंजूको चाबी वालेछेद मझाँकना बत अ,छा लगता था।
हर दन, मंजूकूल जानेके रातेम रंजीत क कान पर जा पचती। रंजीत गाँव मतालेऔर चा”बय को बनानेका काम करता था। मंजूको नयी चा”बयाँबनातेव:त आती उसके औज़ार क आवाज़ बत भाती थी।
एक दन, माँको अपनी अलमारी के लए एक नई कुंजी क ज़रत पड़ी। मंजूउनकेसाथ रंजीत क कान पर गई। उसनेदेखा “क कैसेरंजीत नेधातुके टुकड़ेसेचाबी बनाई। “यह या ह? ” मंजूनेपूछा।
