जब बारश एक बार शु ई तो कनेका जैसेनाम ही नह लेरही थी । आसमान से बड़ी-बड़ी, आँसु! जैसी बूँद$गरत, और सबके मन म$मानो कालेबादल क तरह समा जात ।
सबके चेहरेपर रोते ए आसमान क झलक -दखनेलगी । फर भी बारश क नह । सब घर पर बैठेथ, उदास, ऊबे ए । “काश हमारेपास कुछ करनेको होता,” गीती ने अँगड़ाई लेते ए कहा । “हमारेसाथ कभी कोई मज़ेदार बात नह होती!” वक बोला ।
दरअसल ममी नेउह$बाहर बारश म$खेलनेसेमना कया था । मगर बच का मन बहलानेके लए उहनेगरमा-गरम, करारेपकौड़ेबना -दए । बच नेभी आलू, Fयाज़, पालक, गोभी वगैरह काटनेम$उनक मदद क ।
पकौड़ेसचमुच ब त Hवा-दI बनेथे। सबनेउह$गरमा-गरम, हरी चटनी केसाथ चटखारे लेकर खाया । पेट भर खानेके बाद भी जब पकौड़ेबच गए, तो ममी नेढक कर उह$मेज़ पर रख -दया ताक अगले-दन नाKतेके लए वेठडी लHसी केसाथ बासी रोटN और पकौड़ेखा सक।
“सोचो, इतनी बारश म$पश-ुप या करतेहगे?” गीती नेकहा ।
“या करतेहग? पजड़ेम$बैठेरहतेहग, और या?”
