This is great, i would like to read all of them. This is not for my child this is for me, old man trying to learn english from zero. hehehe
This book was great because it had repeated sounds on each page to help ESL learners master the phones!
it says we a lot but i only see one person buying food
i cant read but the pictures i could read
My son loved this book!

Because like!!! So LIKE!!!!! : )
I like it because my kid need learn to read
That’s an awesome reason! See more of these phonics books by bookbot here – https://freekidsbooks.org/bookbot/, some of our other early readers here – https://freekidsbooks.org/subject/early-reader/
Love these books. I use them in my ESL classes. The children do not have access to many English books so these books are precious to us.
Greetings from the Netherlands
i like the book, however i have some minor complaints and concerns about the capitalist propaganda presented in this novel. I especially dislike the section where the small boy PAYS for his chips, if i had written this book ,i would have made the staff ask for the money but the young boy informs him that we live in an anarcho communist utopia therefore there is no concept of money ,at this point the member of staff would realise his mistakes and apologises to the child and he then leaves his job as he feels too guilty. In this superior version ,the story has a much better moral that goes along with it . LG x
Cute introduction to satire.
It’s easy to read and interesting
Yes, we loved it. Its original and teaches my 6 year old about ordering food, clean restaurants, good staff, and courtesy of treating others to a meal. It also talks about food we enjoy eating. Plus, I’m able to follow along from another device while my child reads and the ability to read online allows us to save space on device memory, or download for reading later.
Yes I discovered this myself when I started using the books, although some platforms allow the pdf to be viewed in a temporary cache, and downloads are great for favourites or when internet is not reliable, reading online is great to save space! Thanks for your comment 🙂
I love this story, but what is chicken salt?
See the other comment – I guess it’s not common everywhere, it’s a salt with a chicken flavour, it’s a bit like Aromat, or the stuff you get on chicken flavoured crisps. Must say I’ve never seen it at a chip shop here, but they have a very similar product.
I like this book its good
wow!!!!!!!!!! that is good and i love chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Yes very good
Hi, very nice. But I noticed something on page 9. The last sentence goes; I will get him to put chicken salt on the chips. What is chicken salt? Is it a special expression? Or is this a typo?
It’s a salt that tastes like chicken, no typo! Not available everywhere I guess? Sort of like the one you get on chicken flavoured crisps 🙂
It is ideal for my Wednesday kindergarten comprehension classes
So glad to hear, I am so pleased when the books are used for teaching! More from this author and publisher coming soon 🙂
