How to be Happy is a short simple book for young children and beginner ESL reader, promoting values of appreciation and giving, and can be used as an early reader. The book is perfect for building confidence in reading with only 25 words most of which are simple words. This book also teaches kids ten important life lessons and there are exercises at the end which can be used for classroom life lessons/health education or home school exercises.
Each lesson is introduced by an animal with a name that uses alliteration, eg Gerty Goat, Wally Walrus. These animals are a feature of Free Kids Books’ life lessons sight words series.
