Always Be Nice – 10 lessons in kindness, revised edition

Each lesson is introduced by an animal with a name that uses alliteration, eg Gerty Goat, Wally Walrus. These animals are a feature of Free Kids Books’ life lessons sight words series: FKB Be Nice series. All books are available in Creative Commons – CC-BY-SA-NC, as a pdf download, read online, and in an editable form too – which allows users to build on this resource, create lesson materials, or even create new resources to share (must also be released as CC). Editable books can be a good way to teach older children editing, formatting, and writing skills, to create their own books in the same style, please do share them with us if you do!

Here is the editable version of this book: Always Be Nice odg File

  • This is my favorite book.

  • Hi! This seems to be a great resource site! I managed to open the ‘read online’ version of Ginger the Giraffe but EVERYTHING else comes up as not available yet… when i went back to see if i could open Ginger the Giraffe again it also said not available to read online yet… Seems like a glitch or something. I’d love to explore more of these resources without downloading them.
    Please advise 🙂
    Thank you
